About Institute

The institute's history is marked by its evolution into a center of excellence in Textiles. Initially, it commenced its journey as a branch of excellence in Textile Technology with an intake of 60 seats during the academic session 2007-08. It's worth noting that guest classes began at the Government Polytechnic in Hisar during this period.
Subsequently, the institute took a significant stride forward, conducting its classes on its dedicated campus starting from the academic session of 2009-10. During this transformation, it expanded its offerings to encompass three distinct Textile Branches, each with an intake of 60 seats, as detailed below:

This expansion allowed the institute to offer a comprehensive education in textiles, catering to the aspirations and educational needs of a larger number of students.
Starting from the academic session 2010-11, the institute underwent a significant transformation by introducing a new diploma course, Textile Design, replacing Textile Processing, and increasing the intake to 120 seats for each branch. This expansion marked a notable development in the institute's offerings, as detailed below:

Further enhancing its academic offerings, in the current academic session of 2011-12, the institute introduced an impressive array of five new diploma courses, resulting in a total intake of 540 students. These new courses, along with their respective branches and intake, are presented below:

This remarkable expansion has positioned the institute as a hub for a diverse range of diploma courses, catering to the educational needs and career aspirations of a wide spectrum of students.
During the 2014-15 academic year, the institute introduce a new diploma program in Computer Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 students while simultaneously discontinue some diploma courses.
The Institute has been running following these Diploma courses since 2014-15 to till date with same intake.
